Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Started in 2007, the Bay Area Association of Democratic Women (BAAD Women) is the brainstorm of a group of politically active women in the Clear Lake area interested in increasing women’s involvement in politics. Focusing on issues at the state and federal levels, BAAD Women works to increase political awareness by tracking legislation, hosting political discussions and developing initiatives to encourage voter turnout. BAAD Women also is active in local issues, helping to promote quality of life in the community. Membership in BAAD Women is open to both men and women.
